Dinner and a show

WHY

Because sometimes you want some foie gras with your Japanese food

WHERE

Near the crossroads of the The Odeon @ 3 Rue André Mazet

WHAT

Everything. Seriously. The food is super fresh and is prepared right in front of you. If you are craving meat, get the wagyu beef. If you are craving fish, I highly recommend the Saint Jacques (scallops). If you want to go traditional japanese route, get the sashimi. If you want absolute fusion, definitely get the bento box with foie gras. You can either do a la carte or a formula (prix fixe menu). I highly suggest the latter, but also warn you that you will be VERY FULL. Each formula is served with a soup, salad and choice of dessert or coffee. Though I am not a sweets person, I opted for the green tea matcha cake and It. Was. Divine.

WHEN

Great for a nice lunch whether you are shopping in Saint Germain or after/before some tourist stuff like Notre Dame or La Chapelle. Get there exactly at 12:30pm when they open if you don't want to wait for a table. Also good spot for dinner, but highly recommend making a reservation.

WHO

Great for solo dining or dining with a friend. The space is not huge so wouldn't recommend for large groups. Recommend sitting at the bar as it is fun to watch the food being prepared. Some of the staff does speak english, so if you are not fluent, you are in good hands.
