Nails Paris

Urban Zen

Congrats! You’ve reached the middle of the week and if you are living in Paris it’s been a cold and snowy one. Here’s our first addition to our series on treating yourself like a queen because you only have one life and one body, so make sure you treat it right!

Today’s pick….

NailsParis

WHY

Because a mani and pedi with a massage is an urban necessity

WHERE

80 Rue Vaugirard for all my left bank lovelies. They also have a location at 59 Avenue Mozart if you are a rive droite girl.

WHAT

I’ve gotten spoiled with my lovely manicurist who comes to my home and does my nails, but sometimes it is nice to get out into the world for a change of scenery. I discovered this spot by accident walking home from my waxing salon and I’m glad I did. The quality is amazing, the service is top notch and the vibe is total zen-phoria. They even offer a complimentary massage while you dry—la vie est belle!

Pro-Tip: If you are into A-MAZING massages, make sure to book one here. I’m a massage junkie and the massages they offer here are NY-worthy; i.e. strong and effective.

WHEN

They are open 10am to 7:30pm everyday except Sunday. You can take your chances walking in, but I prefer having an appointment, which you can do by calling them or booking online.

Pro-Tip: If you have a flexible schedule try going before lunch hour on the weekdays. Rainy days are also your best bet for last minute whims, as most french people rarely go out when it rains or snows. Not fake news.

WHO

Anyone who likes good service and good quality. Coming from NY, I’m very hard to please and it is difficult to find the same level of service I am used to. This place exceeded expectations and have truly won me over for my go-to out of home manicure place. Also, if you are cost conscious, this is a much better option than ColorForever, which is overpriced and not the best quality or service.

I do want to note that english is not spoken here, but if I can do it with my broken franglish, so can you!
