WHERE
In the trendy and posh area by Rue Saint Honore @ 9 Rue D'Alger
WHAT
Everything. I know I have said this before, but I have already booked future reservations at this restaurant so I can literally try everything--the fish and produce I had that night was some of the freshest I have ever had in Paris. For starters, make sure to have the sommelier pick a nice bottle of white--tell her exactly what you are looking for and prepared to be amazed. You are in for a treat since they have a nice selection of wines from the Mediterranean and beyond. Definitely get one of the breads--your server will explain everything to you so you pick wisely according your carb preference. Share everything--order a few starters and one or two entrees depending on the size of your group and your appetite. My personal faves for starters are the salmon tataki and fatoush salad. For the main course, definitely get the fish over gnocchi seasoned with zatar. You will not regret it. If you are getting one dessert to share, get the snickers dessert. You'll see why when you do.
WHEN
Dinner is the time to go if you are looking for a scene. Make sure to make reservations weeks in advance or become a regular so you can get priority bookings last minute. They also are open for breakfast and lunch, which is already on my "must try" list.
WHO
Great for fashionable expats (English spoken here) and the über trendy. If you miss New York type restaurants with great energy, this is the place for you. Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable, vibe is energetic and if you love popular dance music from the early 2000s and today, this place is definitely for you. You will be dancing and singing All. Night. Long.
