City Diaries: Luxembourg
Next in our city diaries feature, we journey back to Luxembourg and check out some of Sin’s favorite spots in and outside of the city. Like me, she enjoys some of the self care splurges, so get ready for some great salon and spa reccos.
Favorite Restaurant
I love the cafe on the top floor of the sSofitel Hotel. You can sip your favourite coffee/ drink with a breathtaking view of luxembourg!
Where to Stay
The Sofitel (centre/ gare) is my favourite property! It’s beautiful, classic, and elegant!
Another favourite is Chateau d’Urspelt in the north of luxembourg if you want something quieter, or want to live in an 18th century chateau ;)

Favorite Place for Drinks
It’ll have to be Chateau d’Urspelt with their dreamy atmosphere and gorgeous spa!
Favorite Shopping Area
Luxembourg Center
I’m a heavy online shopper but still love shopping at the city centre on a relatively empty day (which rarely happens because I’m only free over the weekends but one can hope ;)
Favorite Spa
I’m a big spa junkie so my favourite spas in the city are Thai Orchid and Royal Sunshine!
What are your favorite salons?
My favourite salons are Igorance, Urban Chic, and Eric et Laurent!
If you had one last day in Luxembourg, how would you spend it?
I’d definitely get a great deep tissue massage, a scrub, followed by a fabulous blow dry!
Post which I’d get some great vegan food at Nirvana or a sushi brunch at Kobe followed by a round of shopping in the centre!
I rarely get facials but I’d be tempted to get a facial in the afternoon followed by a cup of tea!
I’d end the day with some thai food at ukulele!
